The Lowry City Council Meeting was called to order on August 6, 2026 at 7:00 pm by Dan Sutton with the Pledge of Allegiance. |

CONSENT AGENDA: |
Approve July’s minutes, Treasurer’s report, pay bills Ck 14131- 14160 and payroll checks 3038 to 3043. Motion made by Virgil to approve consent agenda; second by Trish. All voted aye, motion carried |

VISITOR’S COMMENTS: |
Bryan Bye (Widseth)- The watermain project (including Poplar) is still holding for Railroad permits and approval. Well project- looking for authorization to open bids. Motion made by Virgil, second by Trish. All voted aye, motion carried. Mary Johnsrud- Applied for permit to build deck. Motion made by Trish, second by Virgil. All voted aye, motion carried. Jenny and Kevin Kluver- Looking for information on sewer/ water hook ups on land within city limits on East Highway 28. With email Widseth to get requested information. |

OLD BUSINESS: |

NEW BUSINESS: |
City has been having many issues with mower breakdown, recently repaired. Thoughts to replacing mower held off as season is almost over. Proposal to purchase trailer for Fleet Farm to transport mower. Motion made by Trish, second by Virgil. All voted aye, motion carried. Thoughts to purchasing Winners Spruce trees for park/ ball field. Cost is about $265 a piece. Jackie will work on grant funding. Moved to next months agenda. Consideration given to placing radar sign on Highway 28 heading East. Jackie will see if any other grants available to help cover the cost |

OTHER ITEMS OF DISCUSSION: |
State statute change requires city website to move from .com to a .gov. Asked if any changes were wanted to set-up and display of current website. None were mentioned. |
